Presentations from workshop on the US election and climate change
Clipore hosted a workshop on The 2008 US Presidential Election and the Future of Climate Change Cooperation in Uppsala, Sweden, on the 13th of November. The presentations from the workshop are now available online below.
The workshop included presentations on the EU's and the USA's tentative roles in the future international climate change cooperation, and the new US president and the role of the US in the climate negotiations. An overview was given of the US climate change policies and politics, and another one of the cap and trade systems in the EU and in the US. The workshop was summarized in a closing discussion entitled The Road Ahead: From Poznañ to Copenhagen, which was moderated by Sverker Gustavsson from Uppsala University.
